With all the talk of the new colours we are getting in the next Annual Catalogue from 2 May 2023 and the retiring 2021-2023 In Colors I thought I’d shine the spotlight back onto the 2022-2024 In Colors.
I also wanted to remind my customers, and you, that some of the products like the Sending Smiles bundle will be carrying over into the new catalogue but the bundle price won’t. The colours I’ve used on this card are Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet and a little bit of Daffodil Delight…
I cut a piece of Tahitian Tide to measure 10 x 14 cm and then ripped a piece of Parakeet Party card along the 2 long sides. After I’d glued these together I embossed them with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder and added it to my card base.
I stamped the sentiments with Tahitian Tide ink, die cut the ‘Sending’ then just cut apart the ‘sunshine to brighten your day’ with my paper snips.
The stem of the flower was stamped with Parakeet Party and the head with Sweet Sorbet and Daffodil Delight. The 2 pieces were cut with the corresponding dies.
For this version I used Orchid Oasis card for the background…
