Hello everyone!
I realised that I hadn’t used many of the stamps from the gorgeous Dainty Delight stamps and dies bundle. I’ve neglected some of the flowers from the set even although I’ve used the largest one rather a lot. So today’s card features one of the smaller but equally beautiful stamps from the set…
It really is a Dainty Delight! I stamped the image with Memento black ink onto basic white card then coloured it with Light Granny Apple Green, Light Sweet Sorbet and Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends; before cutting it with the coordinating die.
My card base is Sweet Sorbet card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded on at 14.5 cm to create a tent fold card. I then cut 2 pieces of basic white card to each measure 10 x 14 cm. I added one piece to the inside of the card and stamped the other with the Hand-Drawn Dots background stamp. I must admit that I moved my stamp so there’s a bit of a halo effect but I quite liked it so just went with it, lol. I also added some Sweet Sorbet ink over the stamped panel with a blending brush.
I ripped the edges of a piece of Layering Designs printed vellum and added some Sweet Sorbet ink to that with my blending brush too.
I then stamped the sentiment from Dainty Delight and trimmed the basic white card to fit.
I added the die cut floral image onto the vellum piece and then added glue to the back of the vellum covered by the flowers so that the glue wouldn’t show. The sentiment and In Color matte decorative dots also help keep the vellum in place…
Now I need to use some more of the stamps from this beautiful set!
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card and will give it a try too.
