My friend Valerie and I did a live crafting event in my Nellies Hobbies Facebook page on Friday evening. Valerie made a gorgeous card using a Sale-A-Bration stamp set and I made a 2 inch cube gift box.
Ahead of the live crafting, I gave my followers the choice of card colour I should use and although I didn’t get many votes I still went with the majority and used Balmy Blue.
Here’s the box I made in preparation for the live crafting…

To make this you’ll need the following supplies:
- a piece of card measuring 8-1/4″ x 5″ (if using Letter sized card leave it at 8-1/2″ to get a wider tab for glueing)
- score on the long side at 2″, 4″, 6″ and 8″
- score on the short side at 2″ and 4″
- Country Floral Lane DSP
- 4 pieces that measure 1-7/8′ x 1-7/8″
- scraps for Basic White card for your sentiment and hearts
- ribbon (optional)
