I thought these colours would work well with a floral card and I knew I wanted to use the smaller image from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Beautifully Happy, as it hadn’t been inked yet. It’s such a sweet little flower…
It’s actually 4-step stamping, with the outline in Memento, then the petals with Polished Pink (and Gorgeous Grape for the middle one) then Coastal Cabana for the base and bud stamp and finally there’s a tiny stamp for the centre of the flower too. I didn’t use my Stamparatus but I’d definitely say if you’re stamping more than one of these flowers it would be worth setting it up on your stamping platform!
I used the Something Fancy dies to cut out each of my 3 flower images.
My card base is Basic White Thick card and then I cut a piece of Coastal Cabana card to layer on top. I then used 2 more dies from Something Fancy to cut out the pieces in each corner. Finally I ran this layer through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine in the Pretty Flowers embossing folder.
I added a piece of Gorgeous Grape card across the middle of the embossed layer and then added my stamped die cuts on top. The hexagons are simply glued down but I popped the middle shape up with dimensionals…
My sentiments are from the Beautifully Happy stamp set and I cut them with yet another die from Something Fancy – it’s such a versatile collection of dies!!
