Hello! I hope you are well.
I’ve been making my own version of another one of the fabulous swaps I received at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in Vienna recently. The original had a little biscuit and a tea bag inside and was made with 6″ x 6″ paper. I re-sized it to hold 2 tea bag packages, using the gorgeous Fitting Florets designer series paper.
The original was created by Aline Tapiero and you can check out her paper crafts and textile art on her website www.alinetapiero.fr
Here’s my first version of Aline’s swap….
This is what mine looks like when you open it…
The stamped oval you see slots into the middle pocket.
I’d love you to click on the image below to see Aline’s version and to find out how you can make my take on it…
Or you can CLICK HERE to watch it over on YouTube. If you’re not already subscribed to my channel I’d love you to do so while you’re there!
To make my version you’ll need the following supplies:
- Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper measuring 8-3/8″ x 6″
- scored on the long side at 2-3/4″ from both ends
- scored on the short side at 1-3/8″ from both ends
- Floral piece die cut from the Fitting Florets paper (or stamped and die cut)
- Basic White card to stamp and die cut the sentiments for the front and the oval inside
- ribbon
Here’s the one I made in the video, along with my first one. Which do you prefer?
I hope you like this project as much as I loved the one I received at OnStage.
