CASEing a swap with Something Fancy bundle (sneak peek!)

Hello!

If you’re a regular reader then you’ll already know that I attended the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in Vienna recently and got a huge amount of fabulous ‘swaps’ that I shared in a couple of YouTube videos.

One of the swaps was created by Christiane Veyssilier and was essentially a little gift bag inside a card. Christiane’s blog is www.mon-blog-scrapuleux.eklablog.com but unfortunately she didn’t have a tutorial for her swap.

I really wanted to make my own version so I figured it out and here’s the result. Mine is the red one on the left…

This is what mine looks like when you open it…

I’d love you to click on the image below to check out Christiane’s version in more detail and to find out how you can make one…

Or you can CLICK HERE to watch it over on YouTube. If you’re not already subscribed to my channel I’d love you to do so while you’re there!

To make my version you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Sweet Sorbet card measuring 8-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
    • scored on the long side at 3-1/4″, 3-7/8″ and 7-1/4″
  • Sweetest Christmas designer series paper for the card
    • 3″ x 4-1/4″
    • 3/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Sweetest Christmas designer series paper for the bag
    • 5-3/4″ x 7-1/2″
    • score on the long side at 1″, 3-1/2″, 4″ and 6-1/2″
    • score on the short side at 3/8″, 3/4″ and 1-1/8″ from each end (as shown in the video)
  • Basic White card to stamp and die cut the sentiments

I hope you like this project as much as I loved the one I received at OnStage.

Shop the products

I’ve listed the products I used for today’s project below. You can click on any of the links to see that product in my online shop. The Something Fancy stamp set and dies are not available in my online shop until 5 January 2023, so please check them out then.

When you shop with me you’ll receive a handmade card and gift as a token of my appreciation. If your order is under £150 please use the current Host Code so that I can add in a free product to your customer thank you pack for the month. Find out more on the Host Code page in the main menu.
