Creative Colour Challenges 55 with Oceanfront

I’ll be honest and admit that I struggled with these 3 colours for a while and then suddenly I had a flash of inspiration!! Lol. Sahara SAND and Tahitian TIDE are an awesome combination for the Oceanfront stamp set – why didn’t I think of that straight away?

Here’s the result of my inspiration…

I stamped the little beach scene with all 3 ink colours onto a piece of Basic White card. I then cut a piece of Basic White card to measure 8.5 x 12.5 cm and cut out a hexagon from it using the Beautiful Shapes dies. I trimmed my stamped piece and positioned it behind the hexagon cut out. I then mounted this to a piece of Tahitian Tide card measuring 9 x 13 cm and finally onto my card base (Basic White Thick card measuring 19 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm)

I stamped my sentiment from Hello Beautiful with Garden Green ink onto Sahara Sand card and cut it with another die from Beautiful Shapes. I added some Tahitian Tide ribbon to the card and then added the sentiment over it with dimensionals…

The final touch was to add some of the white Faux Sea Glass shapes to the stamped scene.
