Creative Colour Challenges 48 – Tis the season to be jolly

Hello, I hope you are well.

Wow! How bright and bold is this week’s colour combination from Creative Colour Challenges? You might need sunglasses for this one!

I have actually CASE’d (Copy And Share Everywhere) the catalogue for my card using the Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set…

The card in the July to December 2022 mini catalogue (page 26) uses more traditional Christmas colours, so I’ve used the same layout but with this fabulous colour challenge combination.

The Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set allows you to stamp the outline of the words (I used Tahitian Tide) and use another stamp to fill them with fun patterns (I used Parakeet Party). These 2 layer stamps can be used together or separately to give you much more choice.

I made my usual card base of Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm. My layers are as follows:

• Parakeet Party designer series paper – 10 x 14 cm
• Mango Melody card – 9 x 12.5 cm (embossed with the Merry Melody 3D folder and a flag cut into the end
• Tahitian Tide designer series paper – 9 x 6.5 cm
• Basic White card for stamping – 9 x 6 cm

Before adding all these layers to my card base I added some Tahitian Tide Metallic Woven ribbon tied into a bow…
