We are now over 3 weeks into the final Sale-A-Bration period for 2022, which ends on 31 August 2022. There is a fabulous selection of FREE products you can choose from when you spend £45 or more during the Sale-A-Bration promotional period. There are also a couple of products that you can get free if you spend £90 in this period and the Tree Lot Dies are one of them.
The little caravan in the set reminds me of the caravan holidays of my youth and as most of them were in the 1970s there was a lot of brown and beige involved, lol! So here’s my first project using these cute dies…
Once I’d made my caravan with the dies and Early Espresso and White card I realised it would pair perfectly with the He’s The Man designer series paper.
I added a strip of Vellum to the back of the die cut for the windows. I also realised that the little porthole window in the door was a perfect fit as a hub cap on the wheel, so I cut one out from white card to coordinate. The little blind was cut from Mint Macaron card to tie in with the DSP.
I used the Tree Lot dies for the trees too. There are 3 sizes to choose from and I used all of them! The background layer is Mint Macaron and I added the top detailed layers with Pear Pizzazz so they stand out a bit more. I didn’t add the background for the smaller tree as it was overlapping the 2 larger ones…
I added the caravan with Stampin’ Dimensionals, being careful to avoid the Vellum windows.
