Creative Colour Challenges 42 featuring Color & Contour

Hello, I hope you are well.

Today I want to share the latest Creative Colour Challenge from Vickie Lou Designs with you, and of course my entry. Here are this week’s 3 colours…

Please CLICK HERE to see the awesome card that Victoria has created with these colours and hopefully you will join in the fun too.

I used the Color & Contour stamp set, Scalloped Contours dies and Fern 3D embossing folder to make my card this week…

My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold. The Basic Gray layer is 10 x 14 cm and the embossed Parakeet Party layer is 9.5 x 13.5 cm.

Before adding my Parakeet Party layer to the Basic Gray one I wound round some of the fabulous coordinating metallic ribbon.

The flower is a two step stamp from Color & Contour, using Orchid Oasis ink. I stamped the leaf with Parakeet Party and the sentiment with Basic Gray. I then cut this with a Scalloped Contour die and added a little bit of Basic Gray ink around the edges with a blending brush before adding it to the card with dimensionals…

The final touch was to add some of the coordinating In Color Matte Decorative Dots.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this card. Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
