Hello everyone.
The New Horizons designer series paper pack is absolutely fabulous for making really easy cards that look amazing, because the paper does all the heavy lifting!
Here’s today’s example using the paper, the On The Horizon stamps and the Horizon Dies…
My card base is Blackberry Bliss card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm. I cut a piece of the New Horizons DSP to measure 10 x 14 cm and then used one of the Layering Circles dies to cut out a section along the horizon line on the design.
I cut a larger circle from Blackberry Bliss card and used the 2 mountain dies from the Horizon Dies set with Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent card. I layered up the mountain pieces, added them to the DSP circle and then backed that with the Blackberry Bliss circle. I then added the whole lot over the hole I’d cut on the DSP with dimensionals…
I stamped the birds and sentiment with Misty Moonlight ink straight onto the designer series paper. Finally I stamped the reeds with Soft Succulent ink in the corner of a piece of Basic White card measuring 10 x 14 cm for the inside.
So quick and easy but really effective! I hope you agree.
