Hello, I hope you are well.
Today I want to share the latest Creative Colour Challenge from Vickie Lou Designs with you, and of course my entry. Here are this week’s 3 colours…
Please CLICK HERE to see the gorgeous card that Victoria has created with these colours and hopefully you will join in the fun too.
I had a look in my stash of designer series paper to see if I can any paper with these colours on and came across a Sahara Sand design in a Christmas paper pack of all places! The Tiding’s Of Christmas paper is still on sale, but retiring soon, and has some lovely not so Chrismassy designs like the one I’ve used here…
The lovely natural pattern of this paper led me to use the Forever Fern stamp set and Forever Flourishing dies for the first time in ages. I stamped with all 3 colours and die cut some additional pieces straight from Sahara Sand card.
The sentiment was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink onto Basic White card and then I stamped those little splashes with Pear Pizzazz ink. I cut this with one of the Layering Circles dies and also cut a larger scalloped circle from Sahara Sand card.
The measurements for my card are:
- Basic White Thick card for the base = 5-1/2″ x 11″; scored & folded at 5-1/2″
- Tidings Of Christmas DSP layer – 5-3/8″ x 5-3/8″
I popped the sentiment circles on with dimensionals and added some of the clear Polished Dots for a subtle bit of bling.
We’d love you to join in with these weekly colour challenges. You don’t need a blog, you can simply upload a photograph of your creation to take part.
