Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take part in last week’s Creative Colour Challenge set by Vicky Lou Designs so I’ve been eagerly awaiting this week’s colours and here they are…

I decided to use the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and Dragonflies Punch for this week’s challenge card and this was the result…
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold. I stamped a smaller piece of Basic White card using Bermuda Bay ink for the flowers and Pale Papaya for the butterflies then cut this piece with one of the Scalloped Contours dies.
I coloured in some of the leaves on the image with my Bermuda Bay Light Stampin’ Blend and some of the flowers with my Highland Heather Light Stampin’ Blend.
The sentiment is from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and again I used Bermuda Bay ink and cut it with a die from Scalloped Contours.
I stamped the dragonfly with Memento black ink and used my Bermuda Bay and Highland Heather inks to colour it and then cut it with the matching punch. The stamp set and punch are available to purchase separately but if you buy them as a bundle you’ll save 10% so I’ve shown both options in my Product List below.
I glued the body of the dragonfly onto the card but propped the wings up with mini dimensionals…
I thought it needed a little bit more Pale Papaya so added in a bit of ribbon tucked under the sentiment.
