Motivational decorated notebooks – featuring Abstract Beauty DSP

Yesterday I shared the cards I sent to my lovely Stampin’ Up! customers that shopped with me during January 2022. As well as sending them a handmade card each month they shop, I also send them a handmade gift. This month’s gift was one of these little decorated notebooks…

I simply covered the front of the notepad with a piece of Abstract Beauty designer series paper and then added a couple of die cuts using the Beautiful Shapes dies and a thin strip of a different design from the pack. In total, each notepad has 4 designs from the paper pack on them.

I chose a few motivational sentiments from the Through It Together stamp set, stamped them with Night of Navy ink on Basic White card and cut them with one of Stitched Rectangle dies then glued them on the decorated fronts of the notepads…

This stamp set has so many lovely sentiments, in fact there are 21 of them to choose from. I selected just a few like

• Follow Your Dreams
• Don’t let worry spoil your happy
• believe in yourself
• you are capable of great things
• you are proof there is good in the world

I thought these were the types of sayings I’d like to read on the cover of a notepad and I hope my lovely customers agree.
