My first card with the Hello Beautiful bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Hello everyone!

Today’s card uses products from the brand new Abstract Beauty suite that you’ll find on pages 48 to 51 of the January to June 2022 mini catalogue…

The Abstract Beauty designer series paper is such fun! It features lots of gold elements, stripes, dots, splodges and flowers; there’s something for everyone I’m sure.

The paper in this pack measures 4″ x 6″ and I trimmed that down to my usual 10 x 14 cm to add to my Blushing Bride card base (21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm).

I stamped the sentiment and the lines underneath it with Basic Gray ink onto Basic White card and then stamped over that with Blushing Bride ink. All of these stamps come from the Hello Beautiful stamp set. I then cut the sentiment with one of the coordinating Beautiful Shapes dies. You can buy the stamp set and dies separately but if you buy them as a bundle you’ll save 10%. I’ve shown both options in my product list below.

I also used the dies to cut a few additional shapes from Blushing Bride and Basic White card to add to my design. The gold shapes I added come from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack, as do the sequins I used. I like to be able to coordinate my existing Annual Catalogue embellishments with brand new products.

I added a piece of Basic White card to the inside, with a little bit more stamping using the same inks as before…

I can see me using this bundle for colour challenges as the shapes of the dies and the stamps will be great for building patterns and creating your own stamped backgrounds. The ideas are already flowing for me! What about you?
