Hello everyone.
Today’s project is a remake of one I made way back in February 2020, before I started making regular YouTube videos. You can see the original blog post by clicking here.
I decided that it would be great to make a Christmas version and as I’m absolutely obsessed with the Painted Christmas suite from Stampin’ Up! that was my obvious choice…

Whilst it’s closed the box doesn’t really look all that special, but the fun happens when you take off the ribbon and the lid to reveal this inside…

And then you open the 2 sides to show this…

Each of the little boxes is the perfect place for a little treat or gift…

You can find out how to make this box with 3 boxes inside by watching the following video, just click the image below…
To make this you’ll need the following:
- Real Red card for the main box base that measures 8-1/2″ x 5-1/4″
- score on the long side at 1-3/4″ and 6-3/4″
- score on the short side at 1-3/4″ and 3-1/2″
- Real Red card for the main box lid measuring 6-1/16″ x 2-13/16″ (see the video for these measurements)
- score on all 4 sides at 1/2″
- 3 pieces of Real Red card for the mini boxes that each measure 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
- score on all 4 sides at 1-1/2″
- 3 pieces of Real Red card for the mini box lids that each measure 2-9/16″ x 2-9/16″ (see video for this measurement too)
- score on all 4 sides at 1/2″
- 2 pieces of Basic White card that each measure 1-5/8″ x 4-7/8″
- 3 pieces of Painted Christmas DSP that measure 1-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
- 7 pieces of Painted Christmas DSP that measure 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″
- Basic White card for stamping and die cutting the leaves and berries (optional)
- The ribbon is also optional
I hope you’ve enjoyed this Christmas version of my 3 boxes in a box. I think it looks great in these colours!
