Sale-A-Bration is still in full swing, although we’ve got to remember that all good things come to an end; in this case, Sale-A-Bration ends on 30 September 2021.
I’ve used the super fun Counting Sheep stamp set for today’s card. To earn this free stamp set you need to spend £45 in my online store before Sale-A-Bration ends. You can also earn the coordinating dies with a further £45 spend, but I actually fussy cut my two sheep for this card…
Please ignore the shadows on the white layer but these sheep are actually spring lambs as I’ve added a little handmade wobble spring to the back of them. Their height cast lots of shadows when I tried to take photos…
I made these paper springs in a previous YouTube video for a Darling Donkeys card during the last Sale-A-Bration promotion. If you want to see how easy these are to make just CLICK HERE to see the video and fast forward to around 7:40 for the springs part.
My card base is Bermuda Bay card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm. I cut 2 pieces of Basic White to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm, one for the front and the other for the inside. You’ll need more Basic White for the sheep.
I used my Ivory and Smoky Slate Light Stampin’ Blends to colour the sheep and coloured the fleece with Wink Of Stella, so they shimmer when they wobble!
I ripped the edge of a piece of copier paper and used that to get the look of uneven grass when I added Granny Apple Green with a blending brush. I then stamped the grass lines with Granny Apple Green on top.
The sentiment is stamped with Bermuda Bay ink and I coloured some of Elegant Faceted Gems with my Bermuda Bay Dark Stampin’ Blend.
