A few days ago I shared 3 cards I made with the Sale-A-Bration free stamp set Textures & Frames, using the circular and splodges stamps. If you missed it click here to check them out.
I promised that I’d play with the remaining stamps from the set soon and I like to keep my promises. Plus making the other cards was so much fun, I couldn’t stop there. This time I grabbed 3 blue ink pads and created this fun birthday card…
My card base is Night of Navy card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut a piece of Basic White card to measure 10 x 14 cm and set about stamping it with 3 of the Textures and Frames stamps in Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy inks.
My sentiment is from the Biggest Wish stamp set. I stamped the happy with Balmy Blue ink and purposefully stamped the birthday at an angle as this is much easier for beginner stampers (and me!) than worrying about getting it straight.
Now I did use the Hippo & Friends dies to cut my sentiment out but you could simply trim your card to a rectangle that fits your sentiment instead, to keep it simple. I backed mine with Misty Moonlight card cut with a larger die and then added them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally I added some of the dark blue gems from the Holiday Rhinestones pack…
I’m so loving these stamps for just randomly stamping patterns and seeing what happens. I’m also loving them because I earned them for FREE with a spend of £45. You can too, as long as your order is completed by 30 September 2021 and the stamp set is still in stock!
