One of the best parts of being a paper crafter is being able to make pretty packages for gifts. And what better time than Christmas for gift giving in gorgous boxes like this one…
This box is 2 inches high and 3-1/2″ square. In this video, I make a smaller one….
The finished size of the smaller box is 1-1/2″ high and 3″ square and is the perfect size to fit in 8 tea lights…
To make these boxes you’ll need the following:
The larger box
- Cherry Cobbler card measuring 7-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ scored at 2″ on all 4 sides, for the base
- Cherry Cobbler card measuring 5-1/16″ x 5-1/16″ scored at 3/4″ on all 4 sides, for the lid
- Tidings of Christmas designer series paper
- 4 pieces measuring 1-3/4″ x 3-1/4″
- 4 pieces measuring 1/2″ x 3-1/4″
- 1 piece measuring 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″
- Scraps of Cherry Cobbler for the flowers
- Scrap of Basic White Thick card and DSP for the tag
The smaller box
- Cherry Cobbler card measuring 6″ x 6″ scored at 1-1/2″ on all 4 sides, for the base
- Cherry Cobbler card measuring 4-9/16″ x 4-9/16″ scored at 3/4″ on all 4 sides, for the lid
- Tidings of Christmas designer series paper
- 4 pieces measuring 1-1/4″ x 2-3/4″
- 4 pieces measuring 1/2″ x 2-3/4″
- 1 piece measuring 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
- Scraps of Cherry Cobbler for the flowers
- Scrap of Basic White Thick card and DSP for the tag
