Hello everyone.

The Stampin’ Up! Hippo Happiness stamp set and matching Hippo & Friends dies are just so cute and I haven’t used them nearly enough. In fact, I don’t think I’d used the sweet little butterfly at all until I made today’s card…

I thought it would be fun to use the 2020-2022 In Colors for this card and I’m glad I did, they are a fabulous combination!

My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a tent fold card.

I wanted to use the clever little die from the set that creates slots to allow you to thread ribbon onto your card, so I needed to add a second layer to do this. My layer of Basic White card measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I threaded through some of the crinkled seam binding ribbon and tied it in a bow before I added this layer to my card base. I also stamped those little swirls of dots in each colour on this layer.

I stamped the butterflies in Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Just Jade, Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider inks onto Basic White card. To colour the wings I used my Wink Of Stella brush to bleed some of the colour as well as adding some sparkle…

Each butterfly was die cut and then popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I did the same for the sentiment that I stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.

I think the end result is a really fun and bright card that I hope will bring some cheer to the person that receives it.

I’ve listed the products I’ve used for today’s card below. You can click on any of the product links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store at any time.

When you shop with me, I’ll send you a handmade card and gift as a token of my appreciation for your order. If your order is under £150 please use my current Host Code when you shop, as this will allow me to add in some free Stampin’ Up! product to your customer thank you pack for the month.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
