I’m showcasing the final one of the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2021 In Colors that are about to retire soon. Today it’s the turn of Purple Posy…
The stamp set I’ve used is about to retire too…

My card base is Smoky Slate card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I stamped a layer of Purple Posy card measuring 10 x 14 cm with the dot stamps from the set with Versamark ink, added Clear Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. This gives a lovely subtle pattern that really shines in the light…
Unfortunately, we don’t have Purple Posy ink, but we do have Stampin’ Write markers so I used the Purple Posy one to ink up the splatter stamp and added that to my background too. Before adding this panel to my card base I wound some of the Purple Posy ribbon from the Playing With Patterns ribbon combo pack around it and tied it in a knot.
I stamped the sentiment and some butterflies from the set with Smoky Slate ink onto Purple Posy card. I cut the sentiment with Layering Circles dies and fussy cut the butterflies. I backed the sentiment circle with a scalloped one cut from Smoky Slate card and added it to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals on top of the ribbon. The butterflies were added with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also added some of the Playing With Patterns resin dots.
I added a panel of Basic White card to the inside that I also stamped and added another fussy cut butterfly…
