Hello everyone.
I’m showcasing another one of the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2021 In Colors that are about to retire soon. Today it’s the turn of Rococo Rose
I’ve used the gorgeous Beautiful Friendship stamp set to create this pretty birthday card…
I adore the amount of shading and texture you get with this stamp set, along with such lovely sentiments too. It might look like I’ve done something fancy with the flowers to get all those different tones but honestly I just inked it up and stamped it onto my card. That’s the joy of DistinktiveTM stamp sets. Unfortunately this stamp set is retiring and won’t be available for much longer, so get it while you can.
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I added a layer of Rococo Rose card measuring 10 x 14 cm and then my stamped layer of Basic White that measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm.
The leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink. I stamped the sentiment with Rococo Rose ink and cut it with one of the Stitched Nested Label dies. I used a larger die on Rococo Rose card to back the stamped label. I added these to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals…
I used the Small Blooms punch to create the little flowers and added Pastel Pearls to the centre of them. I tied 2 bows with crinkled seam binding ribbon and tucked them under each end of the label. I adhered the knot of each bow to the card with mini glue dots so that the loops and tails pop out from underneath.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. Remember, time is running out to stock up on Rococo Rose products! Hopefully today’s card shows that just the ink and card stock will enable you to create beautiful cards with whatever stamp sets you choose.
I’ve listed all of the products I used for today’s card below. You can click on any product link and you’ll be directed to that item in my online Stampin’ Up! shop.
