Today’s card features some of the products from the Fine Art Floral suite that you’ll find on pages 32 to 34 in the January to June 2021 mini catalogue. Just let me know if you need a copy of the catalogue as I have a few spare that I can pop in the post (UK only).
The suite includes Gilded Leafing Embellishment which I’ve never used in my card making before. Like glitter it kinda scares me to think of the mess but I really love the way it looks so I’ve given it a go…
And oh my goodness, I just love it! It’s so different from using gold foil or heat embossing as the texture is amazing. And it works so well with the textural look of the Fine Art Floral designer series paper too.
I applied the Gilded Leafing by adding Tear & Tape adhesive to the outside edges of my card base and down the middle sections that are between the panels I added. I simply added the flakes to the tape and rubbed off the excess with my fingers and thankfully it wasn’t as messy as I feared, lol.
I cut a piece of the DSP into 3 sections each measuring 13 x 2.5 cm and mounted them onto Rococo Rose card measuring 13.5 x 3 cm.
My sentiment is from the Art Gallery stamp and cut with one of the Floral Gallery dies. These 2 products can be purchased separately but if you buy them as a bundle then you’ll save 10%. I added this to the card with some foam adhesive strip.
With this amount of golden shimmer and gorgeous paper I really didn’t need to add anything else.
