In yesterday’s post and video I promised to show you another version of my Darling Donkeys wobble card and here it is…

This version of the wobbly donkey was created for my best friend’s grandson’s birthday. I’m missing him and his Nana reading the Wonky Donkey book – it’s hilarious!! So that’s why I chose to use the laughing donkey and the Hee Haw! stamp for his birthday card. If you haven’t heard of this book then you really need to check it out, especially the viral video of a grandmother reading it.
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a layer of the Oh So Ombre designer series paper measuring 10 x 14 cm.
The donkey is stamped with Memento ink onto Basic White, coloured with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut. I only used the Light and Dark Smoky Slate and the Ivory blends for this one. He’s mounted to a circle from the Stitched Shapes dies with my paper ‘spring’. The sentiment is stamped with Bermuda Bay ink.
I used the Playful Alphabet dies with Basic White card for the name and number. The number is added to a Stitched Shape square from Bermuda Bay card and was added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used stamps from another Sale-A-Bration product to decorate the inside of the card. These stamps are from the Approaching Perfection set.
