Hello. I hope you are well.
Do you sometimes need a quick card but don’t have one ready with the right sentiment? Then why not make some that don’t have any sentiment on the front? You can either add one at the last minute or just convey your sentiment in your handwritten message inside.
I made these ones with products from the Forever Greenery suite…
The soft tones of the greenery mean that they are suitable for so many different occasions and are gender neutral too.
I used Just Jade for one card base and Soft Sea Foam for the other one. They each measure 21 x 14.5 cm and are scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.
I then added a coordinating layer of Forever Greenery designer series paper to each one that measures 10 x 14 cm. There are so many beautiful designs to choose from in this pack that deciding which one to use what possibly the longest part of this process!
I stamped 2 different leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set with Just Jade ink onto Very Vanilla card. This is a Distinktive (TM) stamp set so you get a whole lot of depth and texture in your image from just inking and stamping once. I then cut them with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly set and layered them up with Soft Sea Foam and Just Jade die cuts from the same set.
I also added a layer of Very Vanilla card to the inside of each card and stamped a little bit of detail on that too…
To make this a bit more subtle I inked the leaves stamp with Just Jade but stamped off onto a piece of scrap paper before stamping onto the Very Vanilla insert. I also stamped the little dots from the set around the leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink.
