Today is a Cocktails kind of day!

Hello.

Today’s card features even more heat embossing!! I think I need to give my heat tool a bit of a break.

This time the heat embossing is in the background and there’s a whole lot going on in front of it…

My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a piece of Coastal Cabana card measuring 10 x 14 cm.

I cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo card to measure 9 x 13 cm ready for heat embossing. I stamped the Cocktails from the Nothing’s Better than stamp set with Versamark repeatedly onto the Flirty Flamingo card, added White Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it.

I then used my Water Painters to add some Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo and Magenta Madness inks to create an ombre effect. I added some of the Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Playing With Patterns ribbon combo pack to the panel before I added it to the card base.

I cut the Cocktails word from the Love You More than dies set using Coastal Cabana card backed with some Foam Adhesive Sheet so that it stands up from the card base…

The sentiments were stamped with Coastal Cabana ink onto Whisper White card, trimmed to fit and then backed with Coastal Cabana ink, also trimmed to fit.

I stamped the cocktail glass using Basic Gray ink onto Whisper White card. I used sponge daubers to add both Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo inks to the stamp that fills the glass and I also added a bit of Wink of Stella on top. The slice was stamped with Mango Melody ink and the umbrella with Magenta Madness. This was then cut with the coordinating die and popped up onto the Whisper White circle with dimensionals. I used the Layering Circles dies for the white and Mango Melody scalloped circle that backs it.
