Hello everyone.
Today’s card uses my current favourite Stampin’ Up! suite; Forever Greenery…
And the awesome Lovely Label Pick A Punch!
I used Shaded Spruce card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm for my card base and added a layer of the Forever Greenery designer series paper that measures 10 x 14 cm.
I then cut a piece of Shimmery White paper and added a watercolour wash to it with Garden Green ink and trimmed it to measure 8 x 13.5 cm. I added a wash with Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea Foam, swirled and splashed with Garden Green to a couple of other pieces of Shimmery White card, ready to die cut…
I used the Forever Flourishing dies to cut the sprigs from my watercolored paper.
I embossed the Garden Green washed piece with one of the Greenery Embossing folders then added it to my card. I then glued on the 2 sprigs I’d die cut
I stamped one of the images from the Forever Fern stamp set with Crumb Cake ink onto Shimmery White card and die cut it and added it to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment with Shaded Spruce ink onto Shimmery White card and trimmed it to fit. I cut a piece of Shaded Spruce card to measure 1″ x 3-1/2″ and cut each end with the Lovely Label Pick A Punch and added this with the sentiment to the card. I added a pearl gem to each end of the label.
Finally I tied a bow with the beautiful soft ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim combo pack and added this to the card with glue dots.
Now I’ve decorated the front I had to add a bit of detail inside too. I cut another piece of Shimmery White card to measure 10 x 14 cm and embossed part of the long side with the other Greenery Embossing folder. I added a thin strip of the same DSP as I used on the card front, to the bottom of the inside layer.
I really am enjoying using every product from this suite. I wish you could feel just how soft that ribbon is!
Now I think I need to push myself to use this set with a different colour scheme but it works SO well with all the lovely green inks and card we have available.
