Hello everyone.
I will be sad to say goodbye to the 2018-2020 In Colors. I love that they are so bold and bright, I think they are amazing. They are retiring to make way for new In Colors in June 2020 and every time we say goodbye to In Colors the products in these colours tend to sell out long before they actually retire.
Here’s my card that lets these colours speak for themselves…
To make the focal point of this card I added strips of the 2018-2020 In Colors (Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel) that each measured 2 x 9 cm to a piece of Whisper White card. Make sure you add plenty of glue, especially along the long sides so that when you die cut it you don’t lose any of the small pieces. I cut this with one of the ornate dies from the Detailed Bands set and trimmed off the ends.
I made my card base from Whisper White Thick card that measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I also cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 10 x 14 cm and before I added this to my card base I added score lines on each side at 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ using my Simply Scored tool to create a subtle grid pattern. This also helps you to centre your die cut.
I stamped the sentiment from the Band Together stamp set with Lovely Lipstick ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with the oval die from the Detailed Bands set.
Although this stamp set and dies are not retiring they will not be available to purchase as a ‘bundle’ in the new catalogue. So if you buy them now using the bundle code (shown in the Product List below) you will save 10% over the cost of buying them separately from June onwards.
