Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk Blog Hop for April 2020 with the theme “Just because!”

I love giving cards and flowers to friends for no special occasion, but just because I want to remind them how much they are loved and appreciated. Today’s card combines them both…
I wanted to use the Beautiful Bouquet stamps and Bouquet Bunch dies just because I haven’t used them in ages! (And since I made the card we found out this fabulous set is retiring soon)
I made my card base from Whisper White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold.
I added a layer of Highland Heather card measuring 10 x 14 cm and a piece of Whisper White card measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet onto the Whisper White layer with Highland Heather ink.
I stamped 3 different flowers from the set with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Purple Posy inks onto Whisper White card then cut them with the corresponding dies from Bouquet Bunch.
I cut the groups of small flowers from Whisper White card, the wrap for the bunch from Highland Heather card and the foliage from Garden Green, Old Olive and Shaded Spruce card; all using the Bouquet Bunch dies.
I added Whisper White crinkled seam binding ribbon to the bunch and some gems from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones pack beside the sentiment…
I also added some gems from the same pack to some of the little white flowers too…
