I’m taking part in the latest sketch challenge over in the Stampin’ For All Facebook Group and here’s the layout we’re following…
I had to adapt my design a bit as I didn’t have a big enough circle die and I definitely couldn’t cut one to look as good as a die cut, lol. So I used a smaller one for my layout…
The main image comes from the adorable Host stamp set New Wonders. I stamped this with Stazon ink onto Whisper White card and used my Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to colour it. The stamped square is 2-3/4 inches, as per the sketch. I backed it with some Daffodil Delight card measuring 2-7/8 inches square.
I used the larges circle from Layering Circles die set with Balmy Blue card and stamped it with Balmy Blue ink using the stars and hearts from the Label Me Bold stamp set (which was still on my desk from yesterday’s card!)
I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 10 x 14 cm and added the circle. I stamped the sentiment with Balmy Blue ink too. I also stamped some extra leaves from the New Wonder set and coloured them with the Old Olive watercolour pencil.
I added the squares with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added the whole layer to a card base from Whisper White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm.
The final touch was to add a few blue rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones pack and a bit of Wink of Stella to the fairy – every fairy needs a bit of sparkle!
