This is my third and final card in my series using the stunning and ever so shiny Flowering Foils speciality designer series paper. This paper is only available for free with a qualifying order for a few more days.
Today’s card uses pieces from 2 of the 4 designs included in the pack…
I will be honest, I would never have thought to colour these flowers using sponge daubers if I hadn’t watched the Stampin’ Up! video for these papers. It’s taken me a little out of my comfort zone to try this as it’s not very precise, but I actually really like the effect. It pays to try something new every now and again!
The flowers were fussy cut from the designer series paper and coloured with Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron inks.
I made my card base from Whisper White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm.
I cut the piece of grid marked paper to measure 10 x 14 cm and before adding to my card base I splashed it with some Daffodil Delight ink to coordinate with the flowers.
The sentiment comes from the Sale-A-Bration Host set, Little Ladybug, and was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White card and trimmed to fit. This was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The final touch was to add some Champagne Rhinestones…
