Hello everyone. I hope you are well.
I’ve struggled for inspiration recently and so was very grateful to my friend and new team member Gill for showing me a card she made with a ‘napkin’ or ‘diaper’ fold pocket on the front. She has inspired me to create my own one using the Tropical Oasis designer series paper…
The paper I used actually comes from the pack of 6″ x 6″ designer series paper sampler pack that new demonstrators like Gill receive free with their chosen products in their starter pack. This offer ends on 31st March 2020 so don’t delay if you want to take advantage.
You can buy Tropical Oasis designer series paper in 12″ x 12″ too and you can find this in the product list below.
I used Very Vanilla card measuring 14.5 x 21 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create my card base.
I added a piece of the Tropical Oasis paper to my base, that measures 10 x 14 cm.
I used a piece of 6″ x 6″ paper to make the pocket. These are really easy to make and both Gill and I used Jill from www.paperdaisycrafting.co.uk video to learn how…
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z11MlLtWIo&w=560&h=315]I stamped the Happy Birthday from the free Sending You Thoughts stamp set, also only available until 31st March 2020, using Daffodil Delight ink onto Very Vanilla card and cut it with my 2″ circle punch. I backed this with a piece of Mango Melody card cut with the Starburst punch and added it to the pocket.
I stamped another message on a piece of Very Vanilla card with Daffodil Delight ink, cut the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch to put in the pocket…
This stamp come from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set too. I added Very Vanilla Gold Metallic edged ribbon tied with some Linen Thread doubled up. I added a few gems from the Holiday Rhinestones pack for a bit of bling.
Thanks to my friends Gill and Jill for their inspiration. I hope this has inspired you too.
I’ve listed the products I’ve used for today’s card below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop at any time. I would be honoured to be your independent demonstrator.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
