Hello everyone.
Today’s cards use the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and the Lily Pad dies that you can currently earn for free with qualifying orders during Sale-A-Bration. Time is running out though as these freebies are only available until 31 March 2020.
Here’s my first card using these stamps and dies…
I made a card base using Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a strip of the Pleased As Punch designer series aper across the centre of the card front.
I stamped the lily with Versamark ink onto Whisper White card, added White Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I used an Aquapainter and Blushing Bride ink to colour it. I then cut this with the coordinating Lily Pad die. I also used the stem die from the set on Soft Sea Foam card.
I used a Stitched Rectangle die to cut some more Whisper White card and glued on the flower and stem. I stamped the sentiment from Well Said with Blushing Bride ink onto Whisper White card and trimmed it to fit with my paper snips.
While I was playing around with these products I decided to make another card and here it is…
I made the same card base but added a panel of Whisper White card measuring 10 x 14 cm to it. I stamped the larger Lily and coloured the same way as the card above. I also stamped the Lily pad and coloured it with Soft Sea Foam ink and an Aquapainter.
I used the Lily Pad dies for the flower and pad and also cut 2 other pieces from Whisper White card to add more detail.
The Hello stamp also comes from the Well Said set and the friend die cut, in Blushing Bride card, comes from the coordinating Well Written dies.
If you buy the Well Said stamps and the Well Written dies as a bundle then you will save 10% on the cost of buying them separately.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these cards. I certainly enjoyed making them!
I’ve listed the products I’ve used below. Remember, the Pleased As Punch paper and the free Sale-A-Bration products are only available until 31st March 2020.
Happy crafting,
