Hello.
As promised in my post yesterday, I’d like to show you the little card I made to pop in the gift bag I shared with you yesterday…
I thought it would be fun to have shoes to match the bag!
I used the Best Dressed 3″ x 3″ Note Cards & Envelopes and selected one with the Petal Pink printed front. I then embossed the front of the note card with the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder to coordinate with the gift bag.
I stamped the shoes onto Whisper White card and onto scraps of the Best Dressed designer series paper (DSP) left over from die cutting the pieces for the bag. I then fussy cut the ones on the DSP to glue the pattern to only the outside edge of the shoes. I used watercolour pencils and a blender pen to colour the insides of the shoes too. I then cut them with the coordinating All Dressed Up die, to add them to the embossed card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Versamark ink onto Petal Pink card, added White Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. This was cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies and added to the card front.
I stamped a message on the inside of the card with Petal Pink ink…
This is such a fun suite of products to play around with! You can buy the stamp set and the dies as a bundle and this will save you 10% on the cost of buying them separately. Sounds like a good idea to me!
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing today’s card to match yesterday’s bag. I’ve listed the products I used for the card below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop and I would be honoured to be your independent demonstrator.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
