Hello and welcome.
I adore the Little Ladybug Sale-A-Bration Host stamp set and I wanted to do a project that shows off all of the cute little ladybird stamps so here it is…
And I just so happened to have picked up the perfect chocolates to fill this cute box with…
I managed to squeeze 10 chocolates into this 2″ cube box to make a lovely little gift for someone that’s as cute as a bug!
I made my box with Cherry Cobbler card that measures 6-1/2″ x 8-1/4″ and I scored the long side at 2″, 4″, 6″ and 8″. I scored the short side at 2″, 4″ and 6″
I burnished all the score lines and cut it as shown below…
I added my panels before I assembled the box as I find it easier that way, but remember to add the one on the lid upside down! I stamped the 4 larger images from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Memento ink and then coloured them with my Cherry Cobbler Light, Smoky Slate Light, Daffodil Delight Light and Ivory Stampin’ Blends.
The sentiment and the tiny little bugs are stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.
I added glue to the skinny side panel and attached it to the back of the first panel to form the box. I then glued in the 2 side flaps, the back one and then the front one to form the bottom of the box.
To make it a bit easier to open I used my 1/2′ circle punch to create a little notch at the top of the front panel. All that was left was to add the chocolates and close the top.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this sweet little gift box (pun intended!)
