Hello everyone.
Now we are in February I thought it was about time I made some Valentines cards to inspire you. I’m not really into overly fussy Valentines cards to I’ve made 2 clean and simple ones to share with you. Pop back tomorrow to see the second one, but here’s the first one…
With a simple sentiment inside…
My card base is Night of Navy card cut to measure 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a landscape tent fold. I added a layer of Poppy Parade card measuring 9 x 13 cm so that there’s a generous border of the Night of Navy card showing. I then added a piece of Whisper White card that measures 8.5 x 12.5 cm.
I stamped the 2 puzzle pieces from the Love You To Pieces stamp set onto Whisper White card with Night of Navy and Poppy Parade inks. I then cut them with the corresponding Puzzle Pieces die and glued them to the middle of the card front.
I cut another piece of Whisper White card to measure 10 x 14 cm for the inside and stamped the sentiment and hearts from the Love You To Pieces stamp set, again with Night of Navy and Poppy Parade inks.
Such a simple design but with a beautiful message. What more do you need to say?
