Hello and welcome.
I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to choose the Golden Honey speciality designer series paper (DSP) as one of my free Sale-A-Bration products; as I haven’t bought the coordinating Honey Bee Bundle (yet, lol!)
However, it does look like such pretty paper with lots of gold foil accents that I thought I’d give it a go. Here’s the first card I’ve made with it…
In total I’ve used pieces from 4 of the 12 designs in the pack! The full pack contains 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ paper. There are 2 each of 6 double-sided designs and it’s all free with a qualifying spend during Sale-A-Bration, which ends on 31st March 2020.
I made my usual card base from Whisper White Thick card that measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.
I cut a piece of Basic Black card to measure 10 x 14 cm and added 2 panels of the Golden Honey DSP that measure 6 x 13.5 cm and 3.5 x 13.5 cm. I then added some Black Satin ribbon and secured the ends on the back of my panel before adding it to my card base.
I cut another design of the DSP with my 2″ circle punch and used my Starburst punch on some more Basic Black card and glued the 2 of them together. I die cut the words from Basic Black card using the Well Written dies and glued them to the circle. I added the circles to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used my Scan N Cut machine to cut out the large bee from my 4th design of DSP from the pack. You could do this with paper snips too. Again the bee was raised up with Stampin’ Dimensionals…
I have listed the products I’ve used in today’s card below. Remember, you can only get the Golden Honey speciality designer series paper with a qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration…
