Merry Christmas crossover gatefold card

Hello.

I don’t often make ‘fancy fold’ cards but I like to challenge myself every now and again. I saw a crossover gatefold card on Pinterest and decided to give it a go…

I used Pretty Peacock card for my base that measures 4 & 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 2 3/4″ and 8 1/4″. This will then fit into a C6 envelope.

I cut 2 pieces of Noble Peacock foil to measure 1 & 3/4″ x 5″and 2 pieces of the Night Before Christmas designer series paper to measure 1 & 1/2″ x 4 & 3/4″. I glued the paper to the card and then glued the left side of the top panel to the base and the right side of the bottom panel to the base.

I die cut the Merry Christmas from Whisper White card with the Merry Christmas dies.

I added a piece of Whisper White measuring 5 & 1/4″ x 4″ to the inside of the card base together with a piece of the designer series paper that measures 5 & 1/4″ x 1″

I also stamped the sentiment from the Merry Christmas To All stamp set and a little holly flourish in Pretty Peacock ink on the card insert…
