I’ve had the idea for this card in my head ever since I saw the Greatest Part Of Christmas stamp set but it’s taken a while to actually get round to making it…
I truly believe that spending time with our loved ones, whether they are family or friends, is one of the greatest gifts we can give and receive. This is why I’ve chosen to simply add a present and sentiment to my card front and to stamp this message inside…
Although it took me a while to get round to it, this really was a quick card to make and would be easy to make a few at the same time for your most precious people.
My card base is Whisper White Thick card cut to 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a layer of Cherry Cobbler card measuring 10 x 14 cm. I cut a piece of Whisper White card to 9 x 13 cm and wrapped some of the lovely Cherry Cobbler diagonal stripe ribbon to it, securing the ends on the back, before adding it to my card.
I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler paper from the Wrapped In Plaid speciality designer series paper pack to measure 2 inches square. I cut thin strips of Silver Glimmer paper and die cut the bow from the same paper using a die from the Bouquet Bunch set.
I stamped the sentiment with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White card and cut it with my Story Label Punch. I also used the punch on Cherry Cobbler card, cut it in half lengthwise and added it to the back of the stamped label. I added this to my card with Stamping’ Dimensionals.
Cherry Cobbler is one of the Regal colours that are included in the current Online Extravaganza so why not use this project as an excuse to stock up?
