Hello everyone.
It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to take part in the challenges in Amanda Charlesworth’s Facebook Group “Stampin’ For All” When I saw the Sketch Challenge set by Ian Potter in the group on Monday I knew it was time to take part again…
I really liked the look of this one. If you do to, why not join in? You’d be made very welcome.
I wanted to use my Brick & Mortar embossing folder for the bottom section so my card evolved from there into this…
To make the embossed pattern show up better I inked my embossing folder with some Soft Suede ink before adding my Soft Suede card and running the folder through my Big Shot.
I made my card base with Crumb Cake card and added my embossed panel to the bottom part. I used Pressed Petals designer series paper for the top section and for the centre part, which I backed with Crumb Cake card.
I stamped the Thank you sentiment from Tropical Chic in Old Olive ink onto Crumb Cake card and cut it with the Story Label Punch. I used the same punch on Soft Sea Foam and added it to the back of the stamped one so that just the bottom edge was showing.
I also used my Leaf Punch on Soft Sea Foam card twice. I added some Burlap Ribbon to my card base with Tear & Tape and then added the leaves and finally the label was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I then added 3 of the Basic Self Adhesive Sequins in soft sea foam for that little bit of bling.
I like the end result with all the different textures and natural theme. I hope you do too.
I’ve listed the products I used below and you can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. I would be honoured to be your independent demonstrator. Please check out my Host Code page before you order though, to make sure you get the best value for your money.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
