Snowman Season Wood Slices

Hello.

I’m still in preparation mode for upcoming Christmas Fairs. I’ve hoping to show you that Stamps and Ink are not just for paper; you can use them on wood too…

I absolutely adore the Snowman Season stamp set and I will definitely be putting some of these cute decorations on my Christmas tree this year.

I bought the wood slices with the intention of doing some pyrography but decided to try stamping on them instead. I used Stazon ink and then coloured them with my Stampin’ Chalk Marker and some of the Stampin’ Write Markers. Unlike most chalk pens, the Stampin’ Up! one is permanent but still gives you a chalky finish.

I also stamped the other side with stamps from the same set using Pacific Point ink…

I made a few others with one of the other snowmen stamps from the set…

I used the VERY MERRY stamp from the Itty Bitty Christmas set and the Christmas is part of a larger stamp from Snowman Season; I just masked off the Merry part of the stamp when I inked it up with Pumpkin Pie ink. I stamped the snowflakes with Balmy Blue ink.

On some of them I also added some shimmer with my Wink of Stella pen and on others I used the Frost White shimmer paint for some of the snow.

The wood slices came with the jute string but I really like the look of the Crumb Cake twine from the Nature’s Twine set too.

Each wood slice is unique and so is each decoration as I had so many markers to choose from.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project. I’ve listed the Stampin’ Up! products I’ve used below. You can click on any of the links to start shopping. I would be honoured if you chose me to be your independent demonstrator.

Don’t forget to use the Host Code if your order is under £150. Thank you.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
