Hello. Thanks for visiting my blog today.
I almost missed the cute stamp set From Our House To Yours in the Autumn/Winter catalogue. It appears on page 57 of the catalogue and I guess I’d been dazzled by all the other fabulous new products before I got there. The sample card in the catalogue is really sweet and is the inspiration for this piece of Christmas home decor…
I used an Ikea RIBBA 23 x 23 cm frame so cut a piece of Shimmery White card to measure 6 inches square to fill the centre of the frame mount.
I used a sponge brayer to add some Balmy Blue ink to the top of the card and some Crumb Cake ink to the lower part. I stamped the snowflakes in Balmy Blue ink.
As the houses are 2 part stamps I used my Stamparatus to stamp them in a combination of Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay inks onto Whisper White card. I used Real Red and Daffodil Delight inks for the doors. I then fussy cut them with my paper snips.
I arranged the houses where I wanted them so I knew where to stamp the smoke to line up with the chimneys. I used Smoky Slate for this, obviously, lol.
I glued 2 of the houses to the card and added 2 with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the trees in Granny Apple Green and fussy cut them too and then glued them to the photo frame mount, along with one of the little houses.
The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink, I added Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it. I used a Stitched Rectangle die to cut it out and then glued it to the card.
I added some decorative crystals to the frame for a bit of Christmas bling.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project. I’ve listed the Stampin’ Up! products used below. You can click on any of the links to purchase them from my friend Valerie’s online shop.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
