Hello and thanks for joining me.
I told you in yesterday’s post that you’ll be seeing a lot of the cute snowmen from the Snowman Season stamp set and I’m a woman of my word!
I recently bought the Family Party stamp set so I’ve been using that too for these cards for the girls in your life, no matter their age…
I really can’t see me ever getting tired of stamping and punching out these snowmen. They really are so happy looking, aren’t they?
I made my usual card base with Whisper White card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut a piece of the Let It Snow speciality designer series paper to measure 10 x 14 cm. Before adding the paper to my card base I added some of the glittery washi tape from the Let It Snow embellishment kit.
I stamped the snowman in Memento ink onto Whisper White card and cut it out with the Snowman Builder punch. I used my 2 inch circle punch on Flirty Flamingo card and my Starburst Punch on Coastal Cabana card and glued them together. I added this to my card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals
I stamped Merry Christmas from Snowman Season in Coastal Cabana ink and the daughter, sister or niece from Family Party in Flirty Flamingo ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with a Stitched Rectangle die.
My final touch was to add one of the stitched felt accents from the embellishment kit.
I had to make a change to the design for Granddaughter as it’s too long to fit the rectangle die I was using. So I split the sentiment and used a smaller rectangle die for “Merry Christmas” on its own. I then stamped “To a wonderful” in Coastal Cabana ink and Granddaughter in Flirty Flamingo ink then cut it with the Everyday Label punch. I cut an extra label from Coastal Cabana card, cut it in half and glued to the back of the stamped one. I added some Glitter Enamel Dots for a bit of bling…
These cards will be on sale at my next few craft fairs, check out Nellies Hobbies Facebook page for details.
Of course, I will have cards for the boys too and will show you them soon.
