Woven Threads card

Hello.

Today’s card uses the sumptious Woven Threads designer series paper…

I love the textural look of this paper and it reminds me of beautiful linens, it would be the perfect paper to use for any friend that loves fabrics and sewing crafts.

The base of the card is Whisper White thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.

I cut a piece of the paper to measure 10 x 14 cm and another to measure 7 x 11 cm. As you can see from the scrap piece in my photo, the Rococo Rose pattern is the opposite side of the page from the Seaside Spray pattern.

I matted each piece of paper with their coordinating card colours before adding them to my card base.

My sentiment comes from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set, which is in the same suite as the paper. They work beautifully together. I stamped the words in Rococo Rose and the flourish in Seaside Spray ink onto Whisper White card. I then cut this with one of the Stitched Rectangle dies as it seemed only appropriate to use stitching with this paper.
