Magnolia birthday card

Hello. Thanks for joining me.

A few days ago I showed you 6 note cards stamped with the Magnolia Blooms stamp set designed for beginners. I’ve used the same stamp set for this card but combined it with the beautiful Magnolia Lane designer series paper….

I started with a Whisper White thick card base, measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold. I then added a layer of Petal Pink card measuring 10 x 14 cm followed by a layer of dsp measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I used the other side of the same paper as a contrast stripe.

I stamped the sentiment in Petal Pink ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with the Everyday Label punch. I used the punch on Petal Pink card, cut it in half and glued it to the back of the stamped one before adding them to the card.

The final touch was to add 3 adhesive sequins. With paper this pretty you really don’t need to do much more to it.
