Hello.
Yesterday I showed you a great way to start making cards, with a Stampin’ Up! All-Inclusive kit. Today I’d like to show you an easy way to make boxes like this one…
Stampin’ Up! sell these cute little Clear Tiny Treat boxes that you can then simple decorate – easy peasy lemon squeezey! The boxes come in a pack of 16 for £6.75 and are food safe if you’d like to add your own homemade treats to them.
The boxes are 2 inch cubes when assembled, which is a nice size to fill up with treats but in my case I added 2 tins of Vaseline lip balm…
To decorate this one I cut 2 strips of designer series paper to measure 2 by 6 inches and scored them both at 2 and 4 inches. I simply added one to the inside of the box to cover the back, base and front, added my lip balms and then added the second piece of paper to cover the sides and top; before closing the top of the acetate box.
I then added some Polka Dot ribbon, joining the ends at the front of the box so they’d be covered by the sentiment.
I stamped ‘You’re the Best’ from the Label Me Pretty stamp set in Rococo Rose ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with a Layering Circles die. I used another Layering Circles die to cut a larger scalloped circle from Rococo Rose card, glued both circles together and added it to the front of the box. Finally, I added 3 little pearls for a little bit more glamour.
So quick and easy and anyone could do this! Why not give it a try?
I’ve listed the products used below and you can click on any of the links to visit my friend Valerie’s online Stampin’ Up! shop to buy them.
Happy crafting,
