Hello.
Today’s card features an old favourite stamp set, Flourishing Phases and the coordinating Flourish dies…
We sometimes get a bit distracted by the new stuff in the catalogue and forget about sets like this that have been around a little while. Or is that just me? Lol
I started with a card base of Whisper White measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a layer of Crumb Cake card measuring 10 x 14 cm.
I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm.
I splashed some watered down Crumb Cake ink across the card and wanted to do the same with the Frost White Shimmer paint but I wasn’t sure how were that would work so I just dipped the end of a fine paint brush into the lid of the bottle and put little dots on the card instead – I love how it shines in the light! I used my heat tool on it to dry it quickly and avoid smudges.
I stamped the main floral image in Crumb Cake ink onto Whisper White card and fussy cut it. To add a bit more shimmer I went over the stamped image with Wink of Stella.
All of the die cuts used the Flourish set of dies with Whisper White card. I added a panel of Crumb Cake card across the centre that measures 3 x 10cm so it lines up with the edges of the first Crumb Cake layer.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake ink in the bottom right corner.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project. I’ve listed the products used below and you can click on any of the links to visit my friend Valerie’s online Stampin’ Up! shop if you’d like to buy any of them.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
