Before I stopped being an independent demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! I was able to pre-order the new set A Good Man. You can get your hands on it now too. Now this set with line drawn images may be a bit intimidating if you’re not great at colouring, but you don’t have to colour it. Here’s my #simplestamping version…
I stamped the father and daughter image in Early Espresso ink directly onto the centre of my Very Vanilla card base. This measures 21 x 14 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. This is slightly smaller than my normal card base size.
I used my Stitched Rectangle dies to cut a frame from some of the retired Wood Textures designer series paper and glued this to the card base.
The sentiment is also from the A Good Man stamp set and is stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla card and cut with another Stitched Rectangle die (I shortened it by moving the die after cutting it the first time). This is glued directly to the wood frame.
I’ll be back with a coloured card using this set tomorrow so I hope you’ll pop back then.
