Tropical Chic – part 3 of 3

Hello and welcome to the final part of my Tropical Chic trilogy.

This is my last card featuring the Tropical Chic stamp set, Tropical dies and Tropical Escape designer series paper. Don’t forget that both the stamps and dies will still be available in the new catalogue that launches on 4th June 2019; but you’ll no longer be able to buy it as a bundle and save 10%. The designer series paper is unfortunately retiring on 3rd June 2019, so if you want it you’ll need to be quick.

As you’ll see, I’ve used 3 different designs from the Tropical Escape designer series paper pack on this card.

I made my usual card base from Whisper White card measuring 21 x 14.5cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a portrait side opening card. I then added the leafy print panel measuring 10 x 14 cm. The striped design was cut to 10 x 5 cm and glued to the bottom of the leafy panel. The final piece of designer series paper measured 10 x 1 cm and was glued right up agains the striped panel.

I stamped the 3 different styles of leaves onto Whisper White card using Granny Apple Green, Call Me Clover and a combination of Shaded Spruce & Granny Apple Green on the last one. I used a blender pen of this one to blend the 2 colours a little. These were all cut with their matching dies and then glued onto the card.

I stamped 3 of the flowers using Blushing Bride ink onto Whisper White card and again cut them with the matching die. Two of these were glued straight onto the card and the third one was popped up with a dimensional.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tropical Chic set in Granny Apple Green onto Whisper White card and cut it with my Tailored Tag punch. I used the same punch on some Granny Apple Green card, cut it in half lengthwise and added it to the back of the stamped one.

The final touch was some Glitter Enamel Dots.
