Hello.
I’m pinching an idea from my crafty friend Helzie from www.slimmandstylish.com. Recently she’s been featuring a stamp set and doing 3 blogs with different projects using the one set. I’m doing the same but with a bundle and designer series paper to match.
I’m featuring the Tropical Chic stamp set and Tropical dies that will both be available in the new Annual Catalogue from 4th June 2019, but if you buy them before that as a bundle you save 10% on the total cost of buying them separately.
I’m also using the Tropical Escape 6 x 6 inch designer series paper that is sadly retiring and won’t be available after 3rd June 2019.
So here’s my first card from the series of 3…
I used Very Vanilla Card for my base. This measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a portrait side opening card.
I added a panel of the designer series paper measuring 10 x 14 cm.
I then cut the square leaf die from Granny Apple Green card and trimmed this down to 7.5 cm square then ran it through my Big Shot in my Subtle embossing folder to give it some lovely texture. I backed this will a piece of Shaded Spruce card measuring 8.5 cm square. I didn’t glue down all of the bits of the leaves so that the card has a bit more dimension to it…
I stamped the Thank You sentiment from Tropical Chic in Granny Apple Green ink onto Very Vanilla card and cut it with a Stitched Rectangle die.
I hope you like this card and will pop back tomorrow to see the next one!
I’ve listed the products used in today’s card below. You can click on any of the product links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store.
Happy crafting,

Bright green’s and tropical stamps wouldn’t usually be things I would choose but this might just persuade me to give them a go. Gorgeous card! Can’t wait to see projects 2 and 3 X
